In uno studio successivo, è stato osservato un miglioramento delle lesioni infiammatorie dopo l’integrazione con vitamina D in 39 pazienti con acne e ipovitaminosi da 25 (OH) D.
Conclusioni
La carenza di vitamina D era più frequente nei pazienti con acne. I livelli sierici di 25 (OH) D erano inversamente correlati con la gravità dell’acne, specialmente nei pazienti con lesioni infiammatorie.
